XFL players signed to NFL 2023 are DL Niko Lalos, K John Parker Romo, DL Austin Faoliu, OL Jaryd Jones-Smith, and seventeen others.
The twenty-one athletes selected by the NFL franchises belonged to seven XFL teams. Most sportspersons heading to the bigger league belonged to Seattle Sea Dragons. They lead with six.

XFL Combine results for LaColby Tucker in Jump Height was 20.9, Quick Twitch was 0.79, Pound 4 Pound Power was 70.2, and Max Strength was 444.7.
The 2023 combine was held at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube on the 26th and 27th of July.
Sam Acho, ESPN analyst, and DB KJ Sails broadcasted the live stream.
The event had four main categories: Vald Forcedecks (Jumps), Vald Dynamo Metrics (Grip Strength), Vitruve Bar Speed Metrics (Bench Press), and Catapult Metrics (Sprints).

How Much Do XFL Players Make A Year?
XFL player salary 2023 averages around $60,000 for a season. The quality and experience of players attract more money.
Each sportsperson from the active roster is liable for a $5,000 per-game salary and a $1,000 win bonus. Inactive footballers are compensated $1,500 per game and are subjected to the win bonus.
Those who win the championship can make an additional $12K ($5k each for two playoff games, and $1K each for two wins).
Players also get $20K in additional benefits, which include dental, health, housing, meals, and vision insurance.

NFL dominates the market and the salary range. A rookie can land $75K for a season.
How To Try Out For XFL?
You can try out for XFL by participating in the XFL showcases where coaches and personnel directors evaluate your performance.
It consists of several drills such as the 40-yard Dash, Triple Broad Jump, Position Drills, 3 Cone drill, and QBPocket Movement.
The showcases were carried out in June and July across six locations. The dates and locations for the 2023 XFL Showcases are listed below:
It is an excellent opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent and potential. The performance is evaluated and the outstanding performers are given a slot in the XFL Draft player pool.
The best of the best gets an invite to the XFL Combine.
To enter the showcase, one needs to register by paying a registration fee of $260. If one needs to transfer the showcase location, an additional $25 must be paid.
One can participate in multiple tryouts. It must be noted that an individual can only apply for a Defensive or Offensive position. One position per person is the rule.
Who Can Play In The XFL?
Anyone who is a legal US citizen and has been living in one of the fifty states or the District of Columbia can play in the XFL.
The person applying for the XFL must not be a foreign citizen. They must not belong to the U.S. territories like Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, or other eleven.
XFL Requirements
XFL age limit is eighteen years old. Anyone who does not meet the mentioned age is prohibited to participate in the league.
Likewise, an individual needs to fall under the following criteria to be permitted to join the league:
- No professional football league contract with any team
- Not a member of the college team for the 2023 campaign
- Should not pass four years since the last college football or professional football match
- Should have finished college football eligibility
- High school graduation must have taken place in 2019 or earlier
How Does The XFL Draft Work?
The XFL Draft works in a snake format where the picks reverse in the next rounds. The draft order is decided via a virtual lottery.
If Arlington Renegades get the 3rd spot, they will pick 3rd in the first round, while their second-round spot moves to 6th. They will get the 3rd pick in the third cycle and so on.
The head coaches have to pre-select the Quarterback which is disclosed on the first day of the draft.
The second day includes four positional groupings where each team gets to choose in 11 cycles. The last day concludes with an open draft where a team can select a footballer from any position.
Doug Whaley, XFL Senior Vice President of Player Personnel, told that there will be multiple drafts in 2023’s fall.
XFL Draft Results 2023
XFL Rookie Draft 2023 was held on 16th June. It was the first rookie draft in XFL.
The rookies who were eligible for the 2023 NFL draft and do not possess an active professional football contract were in the rookie pool.
The 10-round cycle helped the franchises recruit eight newcomers. The drafted footballers will be placed with the 2023 active and reserve list players.

XFL Training Camp
XFL Training Camp lasts for five weeks and pays $800K weekly for all the sportspersons. The 2023 training camps began on 8th January.
The second season of the revamped XFL under the new ownership of Danny Garcia, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Gerry Cardinale will commence on February 2024.
The recently concluded 2023 campaign ran from 18th February to 13th May with Arlington Renegades lifting the trophy.
The offseason move has seen the league host showcases and rookie drafts. They plan to hold multiple drafts in fall 2023.
