Jennifer Lopez Wears '80s Madonna Outfit for Halloween 2020
Jennifer Lopez's impeccable style is always inspiring, and it turns out that her Halloween costumes are every bit as chic as her everyday wardrobe.
Sharing several series of snaps on Instagram, J.Lo revealed that she dressed up as Madonna for Halloween, and the outfit was, quite frankly, flawless. Replicating the famous look that Madonna wore to the MTV VMAs in 1984, Lopez looked stunning in a lacy white dress, accessorized with fingerless gloves, star-shaped earrings, pearls, and a "boy toy" belt.
She cheekily paid tribute to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, when she captioned two series of selfies. In one, she wrote, "Didn't know how lost I was until I found you ... @arod 👰🏽💋 #HappyHalloween 🎃👻."
In another, she wrote, "I made it through the wilderness."
J.Lo's outfit was seriously accurate, paying particular attention to almost every detail of Madonna's red-carpet style. Lopez even struck several poses throughout the night just like the superstar.

Madonna is currently working on a movie about her life, which she is co-writing and directing. She's teamed with Diablo Cody, the inimitable Oscar-winning scriptwriter responsible for Juno, Jennifer's Body, Young Adult, as well as the best nonfiction book you'll ever read (probably).
Of her decision to tell her own story, Madonna revealed in a statement, "I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer—a human being, trying to make her way in this world." She continued, "The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It's essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision."
